TELETHERAPY / VIRTUAL THERAPY

With You Every Step of the Way

Couples therapy is my passion. Given the chaos and the way in which human relationships are being undermined in our world today, I feel this work is particularly needed. As far as human happiness goes, I see time and time again that it is the quality of a person’s relationships that makes it or breaks it.  This is really the foundation of my couples therapy practice. More than ever, the world needs couples who have each other’s backs, and can bring empathy and intelligent action into the world.

Couples therapy, from an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) model, focuses first on giving each partner space to share how they are impacted by what has happened in the relationship. Ultimately, each partner needs a map for: how the infidelity came to occur, the pain of the betrayal, and how to heal the wound together.

Whatever your sexual concern, there is hope & there is a path forward. Having a safe and welcoming space to talk about sex is so empowering! I am here to help you access the sexual life you deserve. I offer online sex therapy in Oregon and Minnesota.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), founded by Dr. Sue Johnson, is a new way of understanding adult love relationships, drawing on attachment theory. This approach has been met with unprecedented success in helping distressed couples improve their relationship and deepen their bond.

Counseling for open relationships can be invigorating and it can bring up some more difficult emotions. I know how important it is to keep in mind that no two relationships are alike, and I will hold a very safe place for you to explore what is true for you, without bias or judgment. I am here to support you as you navigate and explore all the feelings and questions that arise. Whether you are deciding to open your relationship up to others, want to re-examine your current agreements or navigate through feelings such as jealousy, envy or trust, I will be with you through the process.

I am well versed in the social challenges, complex identity questions, and marginalization that can accompany LGBTQIA+ lived experiences. I can help you work through questions around gender and sexuality, find ways to navigate interpersonal relationships with people who struggle to understand your identity, and build self-worth in the face of oppression.
