Relationship Intensives Therapy
When Everything’s On the Line, You Need More Than Weekly Therapy
Sometimes the cracks are too deep, the hurt is too raw, or the urgency is too high to wait for insight one hour at a time.
That’s where intensives come in.
What Is a Therapy Intensive?
A therapy intensive is a focused, extended session (typically 4 hours) designed to help you cut through the noise, get underneath the surface, and do deeper emotional repair work in a shorter period of time. It’s not just a longer session—it’s a reset. A way to move from gridlock to clarity. From “What’s the point?” to “Now I see it.”
Who It’s For
-
Couples stuck in the same fight that never resolves
-
Partners considering separation but unsure if it’s the right choice
-
Relationships ruptured by betrayal, affairs, or broken trust
-
People who’ve tried therapy before but didn’t get to the core
-
Those navigating trauma, shutdown, or big emotional blowouts
-
Busy professionals or parents who can’t commit to weekly sessions
-
Anyone needing a deeper dive before deciding what’s next
You don’t need to be “in the right place” emotionally.
You just need to be willing to show up.

Why It Works
When you’re in crisis, weekly therapy can feel like putting out a wildfire with a squirt gun. By the time you get somewhere meaningful, the session’s over. Intensives give us the space to go deeper, faster—without rushing the process. We can slow down your nervous system, stay with emotion longer, and actually get to the root of the pattern—before it takes over again.
This isn’t surface-level work. It’s structured, trauma-informed, emotionally focused, and tailored to meet your relationship where it’s at.
When You’re Out of Tools
But Not Out of Love:
Deep-dive therapy for couples who need more than weekly sessions.
What We Focus On During an Intensive
This isn’t just a longer session—it’s a focused, high-impact space where we slow down the chaos, get underneath the patterns, and make real contact with what’s actually going on.
Here’s what we’ll dig into:
-
The Pattern You’re Stuck In
We’ll map out the cycle that keeps pulling you apart—so you can finally see what’s driving the blowups, shutdowns, or silent standoffs. -
What’s Actually Being Triggered
You’ll learn how old wounds, unmet needs, and nervous system responses show up in real time—so you stop mistaking your partner for a threat. -
How to Speak Without Attacking or Collapsing
You’ll practice naming what hurts without spiraling into blame, panic, or defensiveness—and learn how to actually hear each other. -
What Repair Looks Like (And Feels Like)
We’ll walk through the anatomy of a real repair—not just saying sorry, but creating moments of safety, honesty, and emotional accountability. -
Whether There’s Still Something to Fight For
Some couples leave intensives with new clarity and connection. Others leave with a clearer sense of what’s no longer working. Either way, you’ll stop spinning and start seeing.
This is real-time, emotionally focused work—not rehashing arguments or talking in circles.
Options & Investment
How We Begin: Before Your Intensive
We don’t jump straight into the deep end without understanding what you’re carrying.
Before we meet for your intensive, we lay the groundwork—so that once we’re in the room together, we’re not just reacting… we’re ready.
The prep is intentional. Structured. And part of the work.
Here’s how we start:
-
One 90-minute joint session
We meet together to begin unpacking the pattern you're caught in, map out how it escalates, and start identifying what’s beneath the shutdowns, blame, or blowups. -
Two 50-minute individual sessions
Each of you gets space to speak freely, share what you’ve been carrying, and reflect on your own experience without filtering for your partner.
These sessions are required for all new couples and billed separately.
They ensure that when we step into the intensive, we’re not just guessing—we’re working from a solid, informed foundation.
Choose Your Format
One-Day Intensive — $1800
4 hours of focused, no-fluff therapy in one day.
This is for couples who want to zoom in on a specific issue—like a breakdown in communication, growing emotional distance, or early signs of disconnection. It’s deep, structured, and efficient. Ideal for those who want meaningful traction without a weekly commitment.
Two-Day Intensive — $3000
8 hours of immersive, high-impact therapy across one or two days.
This is for couples in it deep—navigating betrayal, high-conflict cycles, sexual disconnection, or the question of whether to stay or leave.
You’ll get the space to be honest, the structure to stay grounded, and the support to do the kind of work that doesn’t fit inside 50 minutes.
This is for couples who are ready—not necessarily to stay, but to stop avoiding the truth.
📌 Frequently Asked Questions
Do we need to complete the intake sessions before booking our intensive?
Yes. The intake process helps me get to know your relationship dynamic, your history, and your goals. These three sessions (one 90-minute joint and two 50-minute individual sessions) allow us to start the intensive from a place of clarity—not catching up.
Are the intake sessions included in the intensive fee?
No. Intake sessions are billed separately and must be completed before your intensive can be scheduled. This ensures we have a solid foundation to do deep, focused work.
Where do the intensives take place?
All sessions are currently held via secure video platform, so you can access care from the comfort and privacy of your own space—no travel or additional costs.
What’s the difference between the one-day and two-day intensive?
The one-day (4-hour) intensive is best for couples who want to focus on a single issue like communication, emotional distance, or conflict resolution.
The two-day (8-hour) format is designed for deeper, more complex challenges—such as betrayal, long-term disconnection, or crisis-level conflict. It allows more space to slow down, explore, and begin repair without rushing.
What if we’re not sure whether to stay together?
Then you’re in the right place. These intensives are not about forcing a resolution—they’re about helping you get clear. Whether you're working toward healing, closure, or a decision, the process is grounded in compassion, honesty, and care.
Can we do a follow-up after the intensive?
Yes. Many couples choose to schedule follow-up sessions or mini-intensives to keep momentum going. We'll talk about what next steps make sense for you.
